    Join the Vertical Market Technology, work in a winning team and manage big brands from the Electronics industry! Your responsibility will cover a revenue portfolio of around 50 Mio. Euros, with growth potential for the coming years!

    We would like this position to be based in the Netherlands, however Frankfurt am Main may also be an option.

    We are searching for:

    • Knowledge about the network of DB Schenker and our products
    • Able to solve complex tasks around the existing business with the customers

    Tasks and expectations:

    • Responsible for managing and developing the assigned Corporate and Regional Account(s) and the complex external and internal relationships
    • Responsible for revenue and volume growth of the accounts, based on very professional interaction with the senior management on customer side and throughout the network of DB Schenker
    • Understand the opportunities with the accounts and prepare annual planning for the revenue and volume budget
    • Manage the account`s overdues
    • Ensure that operational challenges are solved, and that DB Schenker is perceived as reliable global player both in regard to physical flow of goods and flow of information
    • Ensure operational setups like control towers, EDI connections and data reports are designed in the most efficient way, questioning existing patterns of doing business
    • Run MBRs and QBRs with the customer by aligning the internal stakeholders properly
    • Explore new business areas with the accounts within Europe (Land and CL), in import and export (Air and Ocean) and in countries outside of Europe.

    Requirements

    Knowledge Skills and Qualifications

    • Strong strategic vision is required to establish account strategy and direction, including developing a target picture for future business with the accounts, developing strategies for changes required to achieve the targets
    • Exceptional relationship management & communication skills to enable planning & budgeting, organizing & staffing, controlling & problem-solving
    • Proactive behavior towards external and internal stakeholders
    • Ability to lead a team of operational stakeholders and Key Account Managers within DB Schenker
    • Project management experience
    • Financial and process analytical skills desirable
    • Ability to work effectively in a customer driven deadline environment
    • Ability to work in a cross-functional, matrix & virtual environment
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in the logistics industry, supply chain or in a sales environment
    • Knowledge and understanding of international logistics operations across multiple modes
    • The position requires travel, domestically and mostly internationally, inter-cultural competence and global thinking
    • Language skills: fluency in English (written and spoken).
