Your tasks
The Warehouse Training Supervisor oversee the activities and operations of training staff. The supervisor will facilitate training for all new hires, to include onboarding and qualification in areas of safety, quality, human resources, and those defined by the site/customer. This position will report the training percentage completed in each defined area and assist in writing, editing, and reviewing key elemental operating procedures. Tasks & Responsibilities: *Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates (incl. time tracking); actively works to promote and recognize performance; manages schedules and workflow. *Conducts training classes (Safety, Quality, Human Resources, Powered Industrial Trucks (where applicable) for new hires, new topics, and cross training as requested by operations. *Coordinates the documentation and tracking of completed training. *Maintains training records for all employees in accordance with retention policies *Attend project meetings in order to advise training challenges and updates *Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions. *Assists with related special projects as needed. *Performs other duties as assigned by manager. Deliverables & Achievables: *Create training content that is relevant to the scope of work and effectively delivered in both classroom and operational settings *Schedule, conduct, and approve monthly quality and safety training topics.
Requirements
Details/Specification/Explanation of the role specific skills This is a supervisor position. Good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills required. Excellent presentation skills required. Proficient on Windows based programs. SLI, RTCIS, and Etime preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Generally, prefer 2-4 years of related supervisory experience. Forklift, walkie-rider, OSHA-10, First Aid, and Hazardous Communications certification preferred.
