Your tasks
- Analyze existing operational processes, workflows, and systems to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Design and implement process improvements, utilizing lean principles and methodologies such as Six Sigma.
- Conduct time and motion studies, work measurement, and value stream mapping to identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Implement automation and technology solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, patterns, and performance gaps.
- Monitor and report on KPIs regularly, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
- Develop project plans, set objectives, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and encouraging employee involvement.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on lean principles and process improvement methodologies.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions and Kaizen events to generate ideas for process optimization.
- Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer, Operations Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or process improvement roles, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in using statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or Excel for data analysis and interpretation. (no limit to particular tools)
- Experience with process automation and technology implementation is highly desirable.
- Project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
